Say you’re asked this in a job interview:
If you were at a business lunch and you ordered a rare steak and they brought it to you well-done, what would you do?
What will you say?
This is not just a question of dining etiquette, it’s also a question about how you respond to mistakes or problems and how concerned you are with the comfort of your clients or customers.
“Mistakes happen. I would be disappointed, but because that’s simply a preference of mine, it would not be worth making the other person feel uncomfortable eating without me or having to wait until my food came back. So, if it isn’t going to give me food poisoning, I would just eat it.”
