  • Got a job offer in 90 minutes….

Hello Peggy (and staff),

I’m a veteran of job searches (not by plan) over the last 10 years.  Lately I had been getting the interviews, but no offers.  I came across your site and what struck me most was the 30-60-90 day plan.  I recognized the need to re-energize my campaign, do something different, so I signed on for many of your programs.  What a difference it made in landing this job.  The hiring manager (COO) said he brought in 6 candidates for the director-level job, and we each interviewed [with] 6 people.  He said I was first on 5 ballots, and second on the other, and was clearly the best prepared candidate.  I spent a lot of time crafting the 30-60-90 day plan, made sure to review it with him (he spent an extra hour with me), used your techniques to close on the job, and was able to answer more than several of the 101 toughest interview questions with your help.  I nailed the interview; he called me with an offer 90 minutes after I left.

Thank you so much for your advice and assistance.  Definitely the best money I’ve ever spent (outside of my engagement ring).

Best regards,

Randy L.

  • Created a 30-60-90-Day Plan in less than 1 day–and got the job….

Hello Peggy:

I thought that I’d drop you a line to let you know how the 30/60/90 day Action Plan worked for me. I bought your template and audio coaching yesterday afternoon and worked yesterday evening to put my action plan together. I had no time to lose. My second job interview was scheduled this morning. I brought my action plan in to my interview this morning and by this afternoon I received and accepted a job offer as a Nurse Supervisor in a well known home care agency.

Thank you for your guidance. The 30/60/90 Day Action Plan really works!

  • The company created a senior role for him, based on his interview….

Peggy,

After taking a 5 year career break to look after my children following the death of my wife, I decided earlier this year to resume my career now that I am remarried and the children are much more independent.

After having sooooo many job applications ignored or turned down, in September I finally got invited for an interview. It went dreadfully even though I could have done the job with my eyes closed.

I was invited for another interview in October at a different company so I purchased a copy of your Interview question books and 306090 day plan book.

I studied these with interest and did my preparation. Went to the interview with my question list and 306090 day plan, but some of my experience wasn’t broad enough. Although I was turned down for the job, the interviewing manager recommended me to his directors stating “this was the best prepared candidate I have ever seen and we would be mad to let him go”.

So I was invited back for another interview for a more senior role that didn’t yet exist, and for which they had no other candidates. This was a unique challenge – but I still did a 306090 day plan for it (based simply on a one word hint from the recruiting team), extending it to cover tasks in months 4-6 and beyond.

Today I was offered this more senior job, on a good salary, with promise of a review after 6 months to increase that further once the role has been properly scoped. I’m defining my own dream job!

And all because your books taught me to be prepared.

Thank you so much for all the great advice.

Warm Regards

Dereck C.

  • Got a Medical Device Job + 1000 LinkedIn connections….

Dear Peggy,

Quick Story: I lost my job (downsized) June 28 2013. Even though I got several face-to-face interviews almost immediately I didn’t seem to connect with the hiring manager. I started using Career Confidential in August and getting on the Webinar calls. I asked questions and you answered them on the calls. I followed your advice on many things: especially about LinkedIn and going around the recruiters. I worked at making connections on LinkedIn and I talked to hiring managers directly.  This upset some recruiters at first but when they saw how driven I was they helped me.

I start a fantastic job this Monday [October] with a salary 20% higher (I negotiated) than they first offered. So this will probably be my final Webinar call [Total Access Club]. But I leave with a almost 1000 LinkedIn connections, a better resume, a Medical Device position in my specialty that I really like. But also I have confidence that if I get downsized or my company goes bankrupt I know where to get the tools and the attitude to quickly find a great position.

Thank you,

Brian J.

  • Executive Legal Assistant recommends us to everyone….

I am happy to report that I have landed an Executive Legal Assistant job, and I could not have done this without my 30-60-90 day plan and resume assistance. Thank you so much Peggy and Career Confidential for providing me the education and tools needed nowadays to get interviews and land a job. Your training, webcasts, tips and tools are well worth every cent charged, and you offer a lot of valuable information for free. I have already recommended Career Confidential to friends! • Overcame physical limitations and got the job….

As a result of answering the interview questions with confidence, submitting a 30-60-90 day plan along with a creative notebook of my project samples [brag book], I strongly feel that the administrative position of “Assistant to the Mayor of [City], VA” was offered to me just because I was prepared. I have been working for one month on my new job. I love it!!  I have recommended Career Confidential to many of my family and friends. I am a witness that you can have physical limitations but when you come to a job interview well prepared, the limitations are overlooked. Thank you for your excellent coaching resources.

  •  Overcame age discrimination, and got the job…

First of  all I would like to inform you with pleasure that after 8 months of trying I finally got a job–I must mention here that I am 57 and needless to say the challenges are enormous and I had to face a lot of discrimination due to age. (By the way, in this part of the world, there is no legal recourse available).

However I followed all the tips and guidance I received from you–right from creating a killer CV, sharpening up my linked-in profile and crushing the interview with the  30/60/90  day  plan …!!

Peggy, I am so thankful to you for the tools you exposed me to –without which I would not have succeeded..

I did all the things that you suggested in the webinar for “job hunters over 50”  and it was really a game changer..

I am not good at writing endorsements but you can use this in any manner you like–once again I thank you very much and I am going to recommend to all my job seeker friends that they listen to you and only you to achieve accelerated success in their job hunt.

Regards,

N Radhakrishnan
